Robotics Research

As an extension of the CARELAB I was the first student to work with this 6-DOF arm. Here I familiarized with the documentation got an Xbox controller up and running for demonstrations, and began working through the labs. After all the MATLAB and Simulink simulations were completed I wrote the setup guide for future graduate students and the first lab for a graduate level Robotics course. After further manipulation it was made clear that the arm needed to run ROS for real-time actuation and my work concluded with trying to get that working on the arm.
